Why this piece is awesome: An intricate watercolour with delicate colours and lots of great detail - I love worldbuilding and this recreates Gondor's old capital, which was in ruins by LotR times. I love the contrast between this beautiful, spacious city on the river Anduin, compared to Minas Tirith which was very much a fortress (as it needed to be).

Why this piece is awesome: The palette is mostly subtle earth colours for Strider, and the design is gorgeous, the bulk being a portrait of Aragorn as Strider, but the reflection in his raised sword is white and gold, showing Aragorn crowned as king.

Why this piece is awesome: Eethok specializes in medieval manuscript-style art, which is perfect to depict the Fellowship setting off on their quest. The details are great and there's a lot packed in - including unlikely-looking wargs, Bill the pony, the gates to Moria (and the lake monster), Smaug in the sky, and Sauron's eye. The border is fantastic, as well. Lovely!
